Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Salad Prep to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in dessert/salad prep, grab/go sandwiches and deli ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for our chefs to create delicious dishes. This position requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist with prep for dessert bar, salad bar, and deli sandwiches for catering events, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly.
- Support the culinary team with various tasks as needed, including plating dishes.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food handling procedures is essential.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, including knife skills, is highly desirable.
- Experience in catering or food service environments is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
