Supporting Sales | Customer Service | Order Processing
Food Related is a growing food importer and distributor serving restaurants, hotels, caterers, distributors, and non-profit organizations across the United States.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Sales Order Coordinator to support our Bulk & Non-Profit Support department and Inside Sales.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, spreadsheets, order processing, customer service and supporting a team that serves foodservice professionals and chefs.
What This Role Does
This role supports the Bulk & Non-profit Support department and Inside Sales by assisting in daily office needs, operational tasks, and managing the departments administrative activities. This support helps to facilitate the sales order process of our distributor, non-profit and bulk food sale segment.
A typical day may include:
- Clerical work
- Order Processing - order entry and invoicing
- Customer support and follow up
- Entering purchase orders and maintaining documentation
- Managing spreadsheets and order data
- Coordinating freight and logistics when needed
- Communicating with customers via phone and email regarding orders and simple requests
This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment
This role supports a fast-paced food distribution operation and requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions while maintaining accuracy.
The position works in a combination office and warehouse environment and may require occasional lifting of product or interaction with warehouse operations.

Technical Requirements
- 3 years administrative assistant or sales support experience
- 3 years customer service experience via phone and email required
- Experience in sales support, logistics, food service, accounting, or order processing preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (formulas, data validation, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- High school diploma required, associate degree preferred
- Some food knowledge or strong desire to learn about our products
