Production Worker II

Job Summary

The Production Worker II is an intermediate production position. This position is responsible for setting up, running and maintaining quality production independently.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Ability to maintain quality while running production

· Accurately read and interpret measuring tools, including tape measures, angle finders, protractors, calipers, and similar instruments

· Assist with coil assembly and other production tasks as needed

· Adhere to the requirements of the safety manual/procedures

· Consistently maintain high-quality standards during production operations

· Ensure proper housekeeping throughout the production floor for overall plant cleanliness and organization to support a safe and efficient work environment

· Escalate machinery or equipment problems immediately to Production Coordinator

· Follow all safety procedures and comply with company safety policies

· Independently set up machinery, ensure quality production, and troubleshoot issues as they arise

· Operate and perform routine maintenance on machinery and production equipment

· Perform required quality checks, tests and inspections to ensure products meet specifications

· Perform general labor and other manufacturing-related tasks as assigned by manager

Required Skills and Abilities

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Basic blueprint reading skills required.

· Demonstrate strong attention to detail.

· Ensure equipment is clean and properly maintained for optimal functionality.

· Follow instructions accurately and consistently.

· Maintain organized work areas and prioritize tasks efficiently.

· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

· Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

· Ability to safely use a pallet jack

· Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting

· Must be able to lift 50lb objects unassisted

· Proper use of correct PPE is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
