Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through effective communication and product knowledge.
Duties
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selections.
- Organize and restock store display areas as needed.
- Run opening and closing procedures.
- Available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of Eastern European languages is desirable.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
