Food Matters Again is a gourmet food distributor based in Brooklyn, NY. We supply cheese and other goods to some of the best restaurants and grocers in New York, New Jersey and Southern New England. We've accomplished a lot over the past 17 years, and we take a lot of pride in what we do!
FMA is in search of a part-time employee who will assist us at our smaller Pawtucket warehouse on some days and make deliveries on others. We have a world-class team, and we always make certain that good workers are really taken care of. We're offering a competitive starting rate of $21/hour.
Since this is a blended role, duties will include:
-Receiving goods, reporting issues, and stocking.
-Helping maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
-Safely and efficiently driving deliveries to accounts in CT, MA and RI.
-Moving occasionally heavy (70lb ) items.
-Assisting with the care and maintenance of products in stock.
-Reporting issues with deliveries, such as returns or refusals.
-Reporting maintenance issues with vans and trucks.
-Maintaining cold temperatures in the delivery vehicles.
A valid state driver’s license, a clean and safe driving record, and at least 1 year of unsupervised driving experience is a must.
