We are looking for a passionate and experienced Water Resource Project Manager to lead a variety of surface water and stormwater projects in the Phoenix area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives on solving complex water-related challenges, leading teams, and working closely with public sector clients.
What You’ll Do

Lead and manage water resources projects from concept through construction.

Direct hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, flood hazard identification, and FEMA Risk MAP studies.

Oversee drainage and watershed studies, including Area Drainage Master Studies/Plans (ADMS/ADMPS).

Guide the design of stormwater infrastructure, stream stabilization, and flood mitigation projects.

Supervise and mentor junior staff; review engineering calculations and deliverables.

Coordinate with clients, attend project meetings, and contribute to business development efforts.

Develop scopes of work, prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules.

Conduct QA/QC for 1D and 2D models, floodplain mapping, and construction documents.

Utilize modeling tools such as FLO-2D (preferred), HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona.

8 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering.

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Experience mentoring staff and managing technical teams.

Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
