Our client is an established, successful consumer products brokerage firm with more than 20 years of experience representing a diverse portfolio of products sold through one of the world's largest retailers. The company represents product lines ranging from snacks and consumer goods to household and cleaning products.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, self-directed professional who can take raw sales and retail data and turn it into useful business information. The position works closely with company leadership, customers, and retail partners and offers significant exposure to the Walmart business.

The position is on-site in the Bentonville, Arkansas area near the new Walmart headquarters. Local candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Walmart Scintilla and related sales, item, inventory, shopper, and supply-chain data.

• Convert raw data into clear, usable sales and business information.

• Identify sales trends, opportunities, exceptions, inventory issues, and performance drivers.

• Develop recurring reports and provide management with actionable business insights.

• Use Excel to organize, manipulate, summarize, and analyze business data.

• Create and work with PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions.

• Assist in translating sales and shopper information into customer-facing presentations and recommendations.

• Monitor sales, inventory, distribution, in-stock performance, replenishment trends, and potential lost-sales opportunities.

• Work directly with customers and business partners when needed.

• Manage responsibilities independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.

• Collaborate effectively in a small, entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Practical, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Candidates do not need to be Excel experts but must be comfortable creating PivotTables, using VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, manipulating data, and converting data into meaningful sales information.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to learn and work with Walmart Scintilla and other retail data platforms.

• Experience may come from retail, CPG, transportation/logistics, supply chain, sales analysis, finance, business analytics, category management, or another data-driven environment.

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assignments.

• Professional communication skills and the ability to interact with customers when required.

• Collaborative, flexible, and comfortable working in a smaller organization where everyone contributes.

• Must currently reside within reasonable commuting distance of Bentonville, Arkansas.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $80,000–$110,000, depending on experience, with the potential for a year-end performance bonus.
