What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Engineer position at Food Management Search?
Major corporation with multiple sites in the U.S. has immediate need for a Server Engineer to be based in their large manufacturing plant in E.TN. The Server Engineer works as part of the corporate IT group.
The Server Engineer will work with large scale projects. Will optimize the core server and infrastructure platforms in addition to developing the disaster recovery program. This is a Windows and Linux server environment involving physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted servers. Will manage enterprise storage platforms including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.
Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years experience in server, virtualization or infrastructure engineering roles. Experience with MS Azure and MS 365 is a ideal. Must have experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures. Need to have experience working on large scale network projects.
Relocation assistance is AVAILABLE. Prefer candidates who have ties to E.TN, if possible.
This role is a 100% onsite; remote work is not an option.
