I am seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Executive to lead and oversee complex construction projects. This role demands a strategic thinker with proven leadership capabilities and a track record of delivering successful projects within the commercial or industrial construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight & Execution: Drive project completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, safety standards, and quality expectations. Utilize tools like Procore for effective project tracking and management.
- Contract & Change Management: Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and manage change orders effectively in collaboration with project management and legal teams.
- IT & Technical Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams to align technological infrastructure with project requirements, ensuring seamless integration and operational continuity.
- Staffing & Organizational Development: Work with HR to align staffing plans with project needs, promote talent development, and mentor project teams to enhance leadership and accountability.
- Cross-Functional & Executive Coordination: Act as a liaison between project teams and internal departments to ensure alignment and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Risk Management & Reporting: Proactively manage project risks, ensuring timely documentation and communication of project metrics and risk status to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced degrees or certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction is required.
- Expertise in project management and scheduling tools, including Primavera P6, is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and negotiation practices.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams with excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
