What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Specialist - plant level position at Food Management Search?
Must have at least (2-3) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!
Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.
Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related to the following disciplines: air, wastewater, storm water, chemical and waste disposal and recycling.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
