Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to oversee commercial construction projects from bid through completion. This role requires leadership, client-facing communication, and hands-on estimating expertise.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and reporting to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and owners throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead project teams and provide direction on construction methods and problem-solving
- Oversee subcontractor performance and enforce safety policies daily
- Review bid documents, drawings, and specs to prepare accurate estimates
- Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and cost components for proposals
- Use historical project data to improve cost accuracy and ensure competitiveness
- Support negotiations, change orders, and client presentations
- Represent the company to build relationships and pursue new opportunities
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
- 3 years of project management and estimating experience required
- Proven background in commercial or facility construction projects
- Strong knowledge of project management, construction management, and estimating principles
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Procore, Autodesk Build, HH2, and Sage/Timberline a plus
