Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with fresh produce, packaged goods, and other grocery items, ensuring products are organized and visually appealing
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport inventory within the warehouse and store
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels, update stock records, and assist with cycle counts or inventory audits
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper manual handling practices
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments efficiently while verifying shipment accuracy
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves to maximize sales potential
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about product locations or store layout when needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and RF scanners safely and effectively
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control and stock management
• Good communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
• Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling while adhering to safe lifting practices throughout the shift
• Basic math skills for counting inventory, processing transactions, or managing retail math calculations
• Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising techniques, and retail product knowledge is advantageous
