Job Summary
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock and organize products on shelves and displays
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and labeling merchandise shipments
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store
- Assist in inventory management and restocking products
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading products
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 28 per week
