Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves conducting quality audits, inspections, and implementing quality management systems to enhance our manufacturing processes. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with FDA regulations, SQF standards, and other quality frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SQF, OSHA, SMETA, and HACCP standards.
- Coordinate testing of bacthes for specification compliance
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing cycle.
- Analyze data from quality inspections and testing to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance quality systems and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure that all documentation related to quality assurance is accurate and up-to-date.
- Train staff on quality assurance practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, SQF, CGMP, HACCP, and other relevant standards.
- Prefer experience with Tracegains and other online customer compliance portals
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be a great communicator and personable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
