Part-Time Produce Clerk

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Part-Time Produce Clerk to join our grocery team. As a Produce Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality products and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock, organize, and maintain produce displays to ensure freshness and visual appeal
• Assist customers in selecting produce and answer any questions regarding product origin and quality
• Receive and inspect deliveries of fresh produce, ensuring proper storage and rotation
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the produce section, including equipment and work areas
• Follow safety and food handling guidelines at all times
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking
• Promote and upsell seasonal and promotional produce items

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, grocery, or produce departments is preferred
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude
• Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
