Description: The objective of this position is to exceed the customer’s expectation of service by assuring the safe transportation and delivery of food to customer locations, following company policies and procedures.Shift 6AM-2:30PMHourly Rate $17.50Required skills and abilities:1-3 years in related position, experience in sanitation requiredWork independently.Ability to follow safety protocolsPhysical requirements:The ability to lift 20-50 pounds regularlyThe ability to respond quickly to soundsThe ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spacesThe ability to see and respond to dangerous situationsThe ability to work for short period of time in cooler and freezerMinimum Porter Requirements18 Years of age or older1-year related experienceAble to follow detailed cleaning procedures and implement or improve on existing onesOrdering various cleaning suppliesAbility to operate sanitation equipment (mop, broom and or vacuum)Porter Demands:Physical activeLifting, carrying, walking, standing kneeling, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling for long periodsAble to communicate effectivelyAccountabilities:Cleanliness of entire facilityInventory management of cleaning suppliesWorks with all departments to assure safe clean working environmentFollows HACCP, GMP, requirements are met or exceededWorks efficiently in a timely mannerWorks with safety in mind at all timesAssist in other departments as needed
