He kupu mō mātou – About us
Your main focus will be in planning and organizing the site shut down maintenance period by planning the correct work, with the correct information which will provide clear plans and schedules to allow both maintenance and contractors to effectively carry out maintenance work, on time and within budget.
Your role will include contractor management, building relationships, reviewing scopes of work and implementation of work across the site’s assets. You will be creating and updating maintenance plans and strategies as well as creating and maintaining an accurate list of the site's assets in SAP.
You will also work closely with the maintenance support team reviewing and implementing different strategies including GMS, and ITPs across the site with the various stakeholders.
Additionally, you will be providing cover when required for the day-to-day planning of maintenance and compliance tasks for the maintenance team to carry out, NZDC and contractor management requirements.
There will be a strong focus on reducing costs & effort through better planning of work and actively ensuring local CMMS master data is up to date and accurate.

Mōu – About you
We are looking for someone with knowledge of planning and maintenance, and a desire to learn and grow in the role. You will need to have excellent communication skills as well as being passionate about engaging with stakeholders to provide positive and practical solutions for the site.
You'll be committed to delivering work on time, on budget, and in a way that continuously improves the sites proactive maintenance function.
Other skills, experience and attributes include:
- Experience using CMMS systems, and experience working with SAP.L
- Microsoft suite of knowledge, particularly Excel and Projects.
- Permit Issuer or willing to become one.
- Sound experience in a manufacturing and maintenance environment.
- Understanding of maintenance and manufacturing processes and requirements.
- Proven experience in data management and planning systems.
- Process Safety knowledge.
- Minor project work.
- A calm head, with the ability to prioritise workloads, and juggle multiple priorities at once.
- A self-starting approach and ability to influence others. Willingness and flexibility to help the wider team.
