Caption Head Coach works closely with the Band Director to create, teach, and rehearse routines contributing to the overall impact of the marching band in the areas of visual, percussion, and color guard choreography, equipment handling, and student mentorship, creating a positive and supportive environment for skill and personal development. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION • High School Diploma or equivalency. • Formal training in Music Arts (preferred). EXPERIENCE • One (1) year of experience teaching Music to students in elementary, middle, or high school settings and the ability to implement California Arts Standards for Music. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS •First Aid and CPR Certificate •Proof of required education certificates •Valid California Driver’s License or ID Note: valid, unexpired certificates are required prior to first day of work Applicants must meet the minimum education requirements at the time of submitting an application.
