Responsibilities
Responsible for providing courteous and competent services to ensure room reservations for guests are processed efficiently.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following:- Answer incoming reservation calls.
- Complete reservation forms and enter cancellations, modifications, and reservations in the computerized reservation system.
- Run all deposits owed on future reservations.
- Contact Travel Agencies and Guests for appropriate payment.
- Responding to all incoming emails in a timely manner.
- Communicate to guests when deposits are not going through.
- Process all cc auth forms for future reservations.
- Process all refunds to guests who cancelled in the appropriate time.
- Assist with both FIT/Wholesale reservations and group reservations.
- Check availability and rates on a continuous basis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.
- Must be detailed oriented and well organized.
- Ability to operate multiple reservation systems.
- Knowledge of room count information and basic functions of hotel operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- Bilingual highly desireable.
- High school education or equivalent. College degree preferred.
