What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Supporting the Lead Teacher in creating a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Assisting with the implementation of the Frog Street curriculum through daily activities, play, and routines
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
• Supervising children and ensuring their safety, well-being, and individual needs are met throughout the day
• Assisting with classroom transitions, meals, diapering or toileting, nap time, and daily routines as appropriate for the age group
• Encouraging children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through positive interactions
• Working collaboratively with the teaching team to provide a consistent, high-quality learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with infants through Pre-K in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is preferred
• A genuine love for working with young children
• Someone dependable, positive, and eager to learn
• A team player who communicates well with both families and coworkers
• Someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements and child safety standards is preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and actively engage with young children throughout the day
