Fontaine's Furniture is a fast-growing, locally owned furniture store in New Berlin, WI. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member who wants more than just a job—they want to grow with a company that's building Wisconsin's next furniture destination.
This role includes furniture deliveries, driving our box truck, furniture assembly, warehouse organization, and day-to-day operations. As we continue to grow, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility in warehouse operations, inventory, and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and professionally set up furniture in customers' homes
- Drive a 26' box truck (or learn to become a primary driver)
- Assemble furniture for the showroom and customer deliveries
- Organize warehouse inventory
- Receive and unload furniture shipments
- Stage furniture for deliveries
- Assist with furniture inspections and basic repairs
- Provide outstanding customer service
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Dependable and organized
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable learning new software
- Furniture assembly or mechanical skills preferred
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture
- Valid driver's license
Bonus Skills
- Box truck driving experience
- Warehouse or logistics experience
- Furniture assembly or repair experience
