What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Supervisor position at Fond du Lac Family YMCA?
The Fond du Lac Family YMCA is hiring a Building Supervisor to respond to facility needs by patrolling the building and grounds to ensure a safe, secure environment while building relationships and providing excellent service to members, guests, and participants.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains cleanliness, organization, and policies throughout the facility and grounds.
- Promotes members connecting with one another and with the YMCA.
- Effectively manages and resolves emergencies, situations and discipline problems with employees, members and guests in accordance with YMCA policy.
- Responds to facility needs, including responding to all incidents/accidents.
- Handles and resolves member concerns; responds to all member inquiries and complaints. Understands and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the facility.
- Patrols facility and grounds to ensure a safe, secure and clean environment.
- Provides tours and informational assistance to members and guests.
- Ensures that towels are fully stocked and laundry is progressing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum age 18
- Must be able to easily move through all program areas and effectively communicate and actively interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry (5 – 50 pounds)
WAGE SCALE: Starting at $11/hour; Additional premium for bilingual in English/Spanish.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Weeknights 5:00pm-9:00pm & Friday 4:00pm-9:00pm. Weekend shifts 11:00am-close
