What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant District Attorney - CHIPS/TPR position at Fond du Lac County, WI?
The county has five judges and court commissioners do not handle criminal cases. The office currently has 11 attorneys, with one attorney assigned to each branch and other attorneys that specialize in specific case types. The district attorney and deputy district have a combined 35 years of experience. The office has many experienced attorneys, including four former district attorneys, and one former assistant attorney general in the office. This atmosphere provides new attorneys with excellent mentorship opportunities, the ability to grow, and handle complex cases. This level of staffing also provides great opportunity for vacation and time off.
Only attorneys who have been admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin may be hired.
