Role Description
This part-time, on-site dual-role position as Assistant Softball Coach and Adjunct Kinesiology Professor is based in Folsom, CA. The Assistant Softball Coach will be responsible for assisting with team practices, training, game strategies, athlete development, social media, and film editing. The Adjunct Kinesiology Professor will teach kinesiology courses, develop educational materials, and engage students in learning the principles of movement and health. Both roles require collaboration with staff and fostering a positive environment for student-athletes and learners.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Softball or Baseball, including techniques, game strategy, and rules
- Experience in Training and Strength & Conditioning for athletes
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, athletes, and staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred for teaching roles)
- Prior coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level, is an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively and inspire students and athletes to achieve their full potential
