Duties
- Stock and maintain planograms to ensure optimal product placement and presentation of fishing tackle merchandise to maximize sales.
- Stock and maintain feature displays to attract customer attention and highlight key items thereby driving sales.
- Coordinate with store management on received orders and feature displays.
- Execute store maintenance schedule as directed by the Territory Manager.
- Monitor stock levels and give feedback to the Territory Manager when additional inventory is needed.
- Assist in setting up new diplays including product and signage.
Experience
- Proven merchandising experience in retail environments, preferably within the sporting goods sector.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles including planograms and visual merchandising standards.
- Experience with retail tasks such as stock management, planogram maintainance and inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills to coordinate and complete tasks efficiently.
- Experience fostering positive shopping experiences by using excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
