Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and mental health to determine their needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and strategies for daily living.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational therapy principles.
- Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Ability to assist patients effectively while demonstrating empathy and patience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
