What are the responsibilities and job description for the Haul Truck Operator - Off Highway position at foleyproducts?
Job Description:
The Haul Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating 60-70 - ton haul trucks transporting sand/gravel/rocks with a surface mining environment. This position will also operator other heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, etc. as needed.
What you will do:
- Safely operate 60-70-ton haul trucks to transport aggregate materials within the plant environment.
- Perform and document daily equipment inspections
- Conduct minor maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; reporting any unsafe behaviors/conditions immediately to management
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, operating procedures and MSHA regulations
- Work extended hours, weekends as needed
- Other duties as needed

Experience and Skills:
What you need:
- Haul Truck experience, preferably in a mining setting - 6 months to 1 year of related construction/mining required
- No CDL required
- Working knowledge/experience of heavy equipment operation
- Be dependable, self-motivated
- Experience using a variety of hand tools is a plus
- Ability to perform and document equipment inspections
- Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions at elevated areas
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, balance, grasp and perform manual tasks.
