Long-Term Substitute School Social Worker or School Counselor, 1.0 FTE
Location:
Foley Elementary School, 743 Penn Street, Foley, MN
Length Of Position
Start date on 9/14/26, for approximately eight weeks, through 11/6/26.
Qualifications
MN Licensure for School Social Worker or School Counselor
Licensed by the MN Board of Social Work
Responsibilities
Provide assistance to students and staff to help students function effectively in the school environment
Consult with staff, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies to reduce barriers to school success
Identify and coordinate family, school, and community resources to enable each child to receive maximum benefit from his/her educational program
Provide individual and group counseling to students
Serve as a resource to building staff regarding the identification and reporting of child abuse/neglect
Consult and collaborate with community agencies and mental health professionals
Identify and help school staff understand how factors in a child's home, school, and community can affect student performance and behavior
Other duties as assigned
Classification/Wage
$269.06 per day.
