Position Summary:
The Regional QC Manager oversees quality control operations in the Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina region. The Regional QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety. They will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve any quality issues and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures throughout the region. This is a critical role that requires a strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of quality control principles.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for all products produced in the Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina region
- Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve any quality issues
- Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities
- Provide regular reports to senior management on quality control performance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 5 years of experience in quality control management
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Operations or a relevant field
- Experience in the precast and concrete industry
- Certification in quality control management
