Position Summary:
This position provides hands-on assistance to the supervisor/manager in all aspects of daily production. Must maintain a safe, clean, productive working environment at all times!!!

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

• "Hands on" management of department workforce including documenting discipline and training
• Interpret production schedules and drawings, report daily production
• Implement and enforce production and safety procedures
• Oversee daily safety, productivity, and quality within department
• Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and well maintained
• Help manage daily purchases of supplies and materials
• Report production metrics and maintain accurate records
• Help perform and manage inventory of materials and finished goods
• Verify E-time records and attendance

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year(s) supervisory experience
• Relevant industry experience required
• Leads when required, but able to work with others to achieve common goals
• Time management, must understand "urgency" of manufacturing
• Intermediate math skills
• Computer knowledge / skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Excellent understanding of written and verbal instructions
• Quick thinker / flexible / problem solver

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Exposed to high levels of concrete dust
• Work outdoors but may on occasion work indoors. Temperatures may vary due to weather
• Regularly wear protective attire, such as hard hats and steel-toe boots
• Exposed to sound and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable
• Work in extremely bright or very dim lighting conditions

Shift/Hours Expectations

• Mon – Fri (weekends when needed)
• 50 - 60 hours/week
