Purpose & Objectives:
As a General Laborer, your primary objective is to support the production process by assisting in setting up forms, pouring and finishing concrete, and preparing products for shipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are manufactured according to specifications and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include driving the readymix truck, assisting with pouring and finishing concrete, stripping products from forms, inserting additional components as required, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

Shifts / Hours:

• Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
• Midnight to 8:30 AM
• 40 - 50 hours / week

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up forms and preparing products for pours according to drawings.
• Drive the readymix truck to pour concrete into forms, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Support the pouring and finishing of concrete, following established procedures.
• Assist in stripping products from forms and inserting additional components as required.
• Use stencils to add designs or markings to products after they are stripped from the form.
• Clean products thoroughly before transferring them to the yard for storage or shipment.
• Cut wire and rebar, and tie wire for forming reinforcement as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Desired Skills:

• Basic proficiency in English, bilingualism is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and supervisors to achieve production goals.
• Basic math and reading skills for interpreting drawings and measurements.
• Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Forklift experience (up to 36,000 LBS). 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
