Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Heavy Equipment Laborer to support our field operations. This position is well suited for individuals who are hardworking, eager to learn, and able to perform physical labor in a variety of environments. Prior experience with heavy machinery is not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
The ideal applicant is a team player who takes initiative, maintains productivity throughout the workday, and is comfortable working on their feet for the duration of each shift. Job duties may change from day to day, and candidates must be able to adapt and “roll with the flow” as project needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with heavy machinery and equipment operations under supervision
- Perform general labor tasks at job sites
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Travel to out-of-town job sites when required by project needs, including flying and extended stays
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and remain on feet for entire shifts
- Working knowledge of common hand tools and power tools and the ability to use them safely
- Comfortable working in varying climates and weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to travel for up to two weeks at a time.
- Travel is not constant but it is required multiple times a year.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Forklift operating experience or certification
