Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision, performs and directs routine and complex bottling tasks following specific instructions and set procedures; may be required to assist the Bottling Supervisor with advanced assignments. Familiarity with production line is required. Strong leadership characteristics required. Drives team cohesion and culture. While doing so, observes the department’s standard operating procedures, safety practices and wine industry GMP’s as the relate to Food Safety and HACCP
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written through work orders.
- Responsible daily for the general housekeeping of the bottling/warehouse area.
- Responsible for sanitation in all areas of bottling operations.
- Performs general QC verification checks during production.
- Directs staff on floor with routine bottling tasks, break and lunch coordination.
May fill in as needed between the following:
- Dumping station; load cases of empty bottles onto the conveyor feeding the uncaser.
- Superblock station; monitor the blower, filler, capper, corker, foiler, and labeler.
- Packing station; monitor the drop packer, case scale, glue machine, and case labeler.
- Stacking station; monitor the palletizer, uncaser, incline conveyors and forklift operations.
- Directs bottling line clean-up and sanitation efforts.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Requires sound reading, writing, and math skills.
- Moderate use of Microsoft Suite applications.
- Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to demanding situations.
- Required to work rotating shifts and overtime, as needed.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change.
- Reliable and have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma is required.
- 3-5 years bottling experience.
- Good MS Access, Excel & Word computer skills.
- Analytical capabilities.
- Must be at least 21 years old
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and/or lift (up to 50 lbs.) for long periods.
- Must be able to lift 18-to-45-pound cartons on a repetitive basis
Work Environment
- Manufacturing work and production environment – must be able to work in a range of temperatures and humidity (heat and Cold)
- Function in environment that requires bending, stooping, standing, lifting, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to work around heavy equipment and product machinery.
- Some lifting and moving product and or equipment

Salary : $27 - $35
