What You Will Do In This Role
- Research, plan, organize, and conduct comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills of Foley’s workforce.
- Develop and distribute instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids to optimize the learning experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver specialized training programs based on their requests.
- Ensure timely completion of all required documentation and follow-up activities.
- Keep training courses up to date with the latest technical developments.
- Schedule, test, and certify technicians on relevant equipment, ensuring a high level of competency.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical documents, safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
- Positive and upbeat attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities to deliver structured and effective training programs.
- Ability to present and facilitate skills to engage and educate participants.
- High school diploma is required.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Experience as a professional technical trainer or educator specializing in diesel troubleshooting, repairs, and education
- Previous experience as a heavy equipment technician
- Previous experience in construction, automotive, or agricultural industries
