What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Support Sales Rep - Electric Power Generation position at Foley Equipment?
As the Product Support Sales Rep - EPG, you will actively seek new customers and markets for Electrical Power Generation (EPG) product support opportunities. You will influence the sale of parts and service to existing and prospective customers within the EPG division and act as a consultant and advisor to support their operational needs.
Job Duties:
- Establish a professional, positive working relationship with customers.
- Maintain open communication and strong working relationships with Sales, Service, and Parts personnel.
- Actively seek new customers and markets for product support opportunities within the applicable market segment(s).
- Inspect and accurately prepare repair quotes and present them to the customer.
- Stay aware of current business status and changes in the assigned territory. Remain current on product knowledge, as well as competitive product lines.
- Manage time effectively and plan customer calls-including objectives, results, and required follow-up.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with 2-4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Outside Sales experience.
- Strong technical and parts-related knowledge.
- Ability to drive and valid driver's license required
