With breathtaking venues and exceptional hospitality, we specialize in hosting private events, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, creating unforgettable moments for our guests.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate On-Call, Part-Time Servers & Bartenders to join our event team. This role is vital in delivering impeccable service during private events while gaining exposure to our broader hospitality program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service to guests during private events at The Black Walnut Inn and The Grange Estate.
- Serve food and beverages with precision, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
- Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Communicate effectively with the culinary and event teams to deliver seamless service.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or bartender in an upscale event or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Must have OLCC and Food Handler's card.
- Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a luxury environment.
- Familiarity with wine service and cocktails is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
