Our Folding shutter Division is hiring, Join our dynamic fabrication team as an Entry Level Fabrication Associate, where your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will help bring complex projects to life In this role, you will assist in the assembly and fabrication of metal components, working closely with experienced team members to develop your skills in hurricane shutter building. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start a rewarding career in manufacturing and construction environments. You'll gain valuable experience working with a variety of tools, equipment, and technical drawings while contributing to high-quality projects that meet industry standards.
Work details
* Willingness to learn fabrication processes
* Assembly of our Aluminum products Accordions, Bahamas, Colonials and Rolling shutters
* Able to read and understand tape measure (A Must)
*Able to Cutt/Saw parts. Use of punches, drill presses and hand tools.
* Ability to read technical drawings accurately
* Able to perform production processes, understand and operate tools and machinery to insure continuous production flow
* Loading/Offloading/ stacking light metal products by hand
* Good attitude and ability to work well in a busy & dynamic team environment
* Basic mechanical aptitude
* Able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds
* Follow production guidelines and specifications from supervisor
*General shop labor & other tasks as assigned
* Pass background check and Drug test
* Transportation to/ from work
