Fohr
York, NY Full Time
POSTED ON 6/2/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 7/1/2026
Location: Lower East Side, NYC (Hybrid, 3 days in-office)

Department: Client Services

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Client Services (Sports/Retail)

Starting Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000

Position Summary

Fohr, an influencer marketing platform and full-service agency in NYC, is currently seeking a full-time Manager, Client Services to join our dynamic team, with a dedicated focus on our expanding sports vertical.

As a Manager, you will own the day-to-day client experience, influencer success, and campaign results, while taking the lead on budget management, invoicing, and reporting. We are looking for someone who brings a genuine passion for the sports industry - whether cultivated through professional experience, personal fandom, or both - and deeply understands how sports culture, athletes, creator-communities, and fan networks intersect with modern marketing.

Key Responsibilities

With minimal guidance, you will independently manage larger campaigns from start to completion using Fohr and client processes. You will act as the day-to-day client lead for campaign-level workstreams, prepping all meetings and leading many, while playing an oversight role on others. This requires exceptional organization and time management as you begin to delegate and maintain team timelines, occasionally partnering with a Project Manager to maintain rather than create project plans.

You are responsible for ensuring the team is well-trained on Fohr's operational practices across our proprietary technology, influencer relations, and campaign management, demonstrating a high competency in each.

You will take the lead on all campaign reporting using Fohr tools and templates. You must be able to review performance data—including sports-specific KPIs like event-driven engagement and seasonal tentpole results—and draw actionable, strategic conclusions.

This role owns the Fohr x Brand x Influencer relationship. You will build and maintain a strong influencer network, deeply understand the nuances of working with creative and sports talent (client liaison work, timeline management, content creation), and serve as a strategic partner from briefing through to posting and reporting.

As a bridge to learning the finer skills of management, you will oversee the professional development of junior team members (1:1s, feedback, education, advocacy) and manage their day-to-day workstreams (direction, delegation, review of work). Their success is a marker of your success.

Reporting directly to a Senior Manager, you will support senior team members in building client relationships across a book of business to drive client retention. Alongside your manager, you will also contribute to cross-functional responsibilities involving strategic partnerships, legal documentation (scoping, contracting), and finances (revenue recognition, invoicing).

This role is expected to last 2-5 years with a direct growth trajectory towards Senior Manager.

About The Role

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You are responsible for following processes of collaboration with our cross-functional teams to deliver an excellent client experience and retain business
  • Leading by Example: You understand that you set an example for others and are a key pillar in upholding our company values. You operate with humility, are consistently open to feedback, assume positive intent with internal and external partners, and lead with strategic problem solving rather than awaiting direction.
  • Managing Up: You identify opportunities and spot oncoming challenges early to partner with senior team members — including navigating the fast-moving, real-time nature of sports culture and media cycles.
  • Narrative & Reporting: You will drive the creation of all campaign reports and develop your narrative skills to show how the team's efforts have impacted clients' businesses, including tying results back to key sports moments and cultural milestones.
  • Industry Fluency: You will show a high level of understanding of the ever-evolving influencer space, staying plugged into platform, creator, and sports industry news. You follow athletes, leagues, and sports media closely and can express a clear POV that serves both the client and Fohr's business.
  • Community & Culture: Influencer marketing is inherently human-first, and Fohr is an extremely social company. This role is expected to participate in all influencer, client, and team-facing events — including sports activations, game-day experiences, and tentpole cultural moments.

About You

  • 4–8 years of agency or client-side marketing experience
  • Must have influencer marketing experience
  • Experience with or a passionate love of the sports industry — knowledge of athletes, leagues, sports media, and fan culture is a strong plus
  • Experienced individual contributor with 1–2 years of experience managing indirect or direct reports
  • Proven experience supporting similar volumes of business, clients, and budgets
  • Proven experience across all required tasks: budgets/timelines, talent/influencer contracting and negotiations, content briefing and review, reporting/campaign analysis, and team management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Active on social media (TikTok, Instagram) with a finger on the pulse of sports and culture content
  • Must be extremely personable and easily relate to others — including athletes, agents, and sports brand partners
  • Writing examples and presentations may be requested
  • References required (preferred: client, peer, supervisor, employee)
