Delivery Driver/Product Technician

We are hiring! E-Z Rentals Home Furnishings is looking for a Delivery Driver/Product Technician in the Roane County area. We are looking for hard working individuals who want to grow in the company while providing excellent customer service.

Delivery Drivers/Product Technicians are recognized as the front line to our customers. Their goal is to provide a spectacular customer experience. As a Delivery Driver/Product Technician you will be responsible for delivery, installing, and demonstrating merchandise in our customer’s home, while providing outstanding customer service. Job Description

· Safely operate company provided delivery vehicles.

· Complete deliveries and/or pick-ups, per company policy and to customer’s satisfaction.

· Loading/Unloading delivery vehicles per policy to safely protect coworkers, customers, and merchandise.

· Safely transport merchandise without damage.

· Product verification for delivery or return.

· Ensure all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to delivery.

· Installation and set-up of merchandise in customer’s home.

· Customer instruction on proper use of merchandise.

· Perform route service trips to customer’s home.

· Ensure all returned merchandise is cleaned and A Certified (verified to work properly, refurbished, inspected for quality).

· Maintain delivery vehicles in a clean, neat, and orderly manner.

· Customer Route Management.

· Notify customers of delinquent accounts by phone or personal visit to solicit payment.

· Assist in keeping showroom, backroom, and all store areas neat, clean and organized.

Job Requirements

· At least 18 years old

· Ability to work schedule of hours varying from 9 am to 9 pm

· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record – required

· Background check – required

· F Endorsement – Required within (2) weeks of hire date

· Some heavy lifting

· Local delivery – up to 25 miles

· Maintain a professional appearance

Expected Scheduled Hours

This is a full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week), and days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, store open to close hours (9:00am – 6:00pm). Delivery Drivers/Product Technicians will receive one weekday and Sunday off each week. Schedules and hours may change throughout the year as directed by management and company needs.
