We are hiring! E-Z Rentals Home Furnishings is seeking a Furniture Store Assistant Manager in the Rockwood area. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual to supervise and coordinate the activities of delivery workers/retail sales workers and to assist in operating a Home Furnishings retail store.

Assistant Managers drive the success of the store by leading the management of customer accounts with the primary goal of achieving company standards for collections and lease renewals. As the Assistant Manager you will influence team performance to provide stellar customer service while creating the most rewarding, enjoyable, and supportive environment for your customers and coworkers. Assistant Managers are highly involved in management of inventory, sales, delivery scheduling, accounting, credit and collections and personnel management.
Job Description
· Acquisition and maintenance of customers by building authentic relationships that drive sales.
· Assist Store Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
· Maintain privacy of customer related information and adherence to collection laws.
· Review and close agreements, which includes confirming customer identification, payment collection and obtaining customer signatures on lease agreements.
· Engage in sales, customer service, and collections.
· Assist marketing activities as directed by management.
· Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory tracking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing specific services such as furniture delivery for customers.
· Inventory tracking, and reorder depending on inventory levels and store needs.
· Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
· Monitor sales staff performance to ensure that goals are met.
· Prepare sales and inventory reports for management.
· Provide staff with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.
· Attend company meetings to exchange product information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
· Confer with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
· Coordinate sales promotion activities and prepare merchandise displays.
· Examine merchandise to ensure correct pricing and display.
· Helping load furniture, appliances or electronics onto delivery vehicle and assist in delivery of items to customers.
· Prepare Lease Agreements, specifying charges and payment procedures for use of furniture, household appliances and other items.
· Clean and certify merchandise within the store to fit E-Z Certified Standards (verified to work properly, refurbished, and inspected for quality).
· Ensure the showroom floor is stocked, cleaned, and follows brand standards.
· Drive vehicle to visit customers related to delivery or pickup of merchandise, sales, collections, and marketing.
· Learn duties of Store Manager.

Job Requirements

Expected Scheduled Hours
This is a full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week), and days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, store open to close hours (9:00am – 6:00pm). Assistant Managers will receive one weekday and Sunday off each week. Schedules and hours may change throughout the year as directed by management and company needs.
