FocusKPI is seeking a UX writer to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.Work Location: Mountain View, CA; Hybrid role (4 days a week)Duration: 6-month contract with potential to extend depending on your performance in the futurePay Range: $50 /hrResponsibilities:Define and drive the UX vision and strategy across web and mobile products for security, AI, and productivity solutions.Own end-to-end UX for production-ready products and lead design execution through release cycles.Collaborate with PM and engineering to influence product direction and roadmap prioritization.Deliver wireframes, flows, and design specs that align with sprint timelines and development milestones.Oversee cross-platform consistency through scalable design systems and patterns.Partner with researchers to plan and apply insights that inform decisions and long-term strategies.Mentor and coach designers across levels, elevating craft, communication, and strategic thinking within the team.Present and advocate for UX to stakeholders and executive audiences.Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and collaboration.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree preferred, in Design, HCI, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience8 years of professional UX or product design experience, including enterprise or productivity platformsAbility to lead large-scale design initiatives from concept through launchStrong portfolio that demonstrates design process and a polished product design solution that meets the needs of the users and business goalsDeep understanding of user-centered design, research methods, and usability best practicesExperience collaborating in Agile environments, supporting sprints, QA, and production releasesExcellent communication and storytelling skills to align stakeholders across product, design, and engineeringExperience mentoring other designers and leading design reviewsProficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Sketch Thank you!FocusKPI Hiring TeamFounded in 2010, FocusKPI, Inc.
