ELA Teacher (1099 Contractor)
Location: Apache Junction, AZ 85130
Compensation: $45–$55 per hour
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ELA Teacher to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to helping students succeed in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts lessons aligned with curriculum standards
Support students in developing reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills
Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve performance
Collaborate with staff and administration to support a positive learning environment
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate (ELA endorsement preferred)
Previous teaching experience in middle or high school ELA
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as an independent contractor
Salary : $45 - $55
