POSITION SUMMARY:
The floor tech is to implement facility cleanliness, buffing and waxing floors, and trash around the facility. The floor tech will work closely with the housekeeping and maintenance director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The floor tech candidate will possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in industrial floor care
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- The floor tech will be responsible for cleanliness in the facility.
- Buffing Floors.
- Emptying Facility Trash.
- Notify the supervisor when supplies are needed.
- Notify the supervisor when the equipment is in need of repair.
- Notify the supervisor when the area of the facility is in need of repair.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
WORK SCHEDULE:
As assigned, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays; non-exempt position
