Position Overview
We are seeking Network AssessmentDevSecOps Engineers to join a high-visibility team in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will evaluate existing network architectures, perform blue-teaming/defensive security assessments, and build comprehensive network topologies to help shape and design architecture for upcoming defense contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Map, diagram, and document existing enterprise network topologies to support future contract architecture design.
Conduct network security assessments and defensive blue-teaming operations to identify vulnerabilities and bottlenecks.
Implement automated scripts and CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) to streamline network configuration and testing.
Collaborate with systems engineers to propose tactical network improvements and modernization plans.
Qualifications
Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Experience Levels:
Entry-Level ($70k - $85k): 0–2 years of experience with network mapping, Visio/Nmap/Wireshark, and basic scripting (Python/Bash).
Mid-Level ($85k - $110k): 3–5 years of experience with network architecture assessments, defensive cyber/blue teaming, and DevSecOps tooling.
Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security CE) required or ability to obtain within 60 days.
Skills: Hands-on familiarity with network mapping tools, packet capture analysis, defensive cybersecurity practices, and network design concepts.
Salary : $15,000 - $110,000
