What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Cherry Picker/ Reach truck Operators Needed (Edgerton, KS) position at Focus Workforce Management?
Focus Workforce Management is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of equipment, including a reach truck, an Order picker, and stand up Forklift. This position will be responsible for order picking, shipping and receiving, and other duties as assigned.
Shifts:
1st Shift
- Monday - Thursday / 5:00 am-3:30pm, $19.
2nd Shift
- Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am, $22.
Weekend Shift
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 5:00 am-5:30 pm, $22.67.
Duties:
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Move materials within the warehouse or production facility
- Load and unload trucks
- Perform order picking and packing
- Keep accurate records of inventory movements
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1.5 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
- OSHA certification preferred
