Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor food processing equipment to ensure efficient production
- Follow FDA regulations and maintain compliance with food safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Package finished products according to company standards
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines for food safety
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in food processing or manufacturing preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production quantities
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and procedures
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
