Equipment Operator

As a Forklift/Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Your primary duty will be to transport materials within the facility while adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Operate forklifts including Clamp trucks, Cherry pickers, Hi-Los, and other equipment proficiently.
• Perform moderate - heavy lifting and other physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and building pallets
• Utilize order picking systems to accurately pick and pack customer orders
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensure order fulfillment accuracy by double-checking orders before shipment
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory and movement of goods.
• Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist in other warehouse tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center
• Experience with operating stand-up forklift, cherry picker, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
