Job Description
- Select various valve parts for assembly from production work order.
- Load and unload assemblies from the furnace.
- Inspect braze and weld joints for pin holes or weak welds/brazes.
- Make necessary adjustments to machines.
- Replacing Electrodes on welders.
- Install and assemble seat, pin and pin carrier, pushrods using dial indicator.
- Install and assemble assemblies, pistons and adaptors into body assemblies.
- Install internal parts such as diaphragm, spider and buffer plate into power element assembly for heli-arc welding.
- Load and unload valve final assembly into test equipment and run tests.
- Painting and curing components or sub assemblies may be required.
- Get and dispose of material to and from work position.
- Clean equipment as required.
- Flexing from one workstation into another is required for continuous through put.
- Maintaining cycle counts (inventory) may be required.
- Active participation in High Performance Team.
- Active participation in lean events.
- Follow Safety procedures and safe work practices
- Follow 5S program
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing experience and/or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work as part of an effective, high functioning team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
