What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation/Support Technician position at Focus Treatment Center?

POSITION SUMMARY
Personnel in this position function under the supervision of the Executive Director. He, she, or they will assist the clinical team in patient care, including recreational/educational groups, monitoring of patients, documentation, and 24-hour admission of patients to their respective units. He, she, or they will transport patients to and from appointments, admissions, and discharges. He, she, or they will need to be available 7a-7p Monday through Friday for transportation. Executive Director will communicate transportation needs and work hours will be adjusted accordingly. Normal workdays will be 10-6 Monday through Friday when no transportation is needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
a. High School Diploma/GED
b. No experience required; bachelor's degree in psychology, health science, or related degree AND/OR minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred.
c. Valid Driver's License
d. Good understanding of addictive processes and recovery skills.
e. Individuals in recovery from substance abuse and/or eating disorders must have a minimum of two years of continuous chemical abstinence and/or must be active in support groups.
