Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Aide to join our team. Our Activity Aides are responsible for implementing engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This position is Full time. Hours are 9am- 5pm. Alternating weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead a variety of recreational activities such as games, exercise, arts & crafts, special events
- Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities, providing individual support as needed
- Set up and clean up activity areas and equipment
- Transport residents to and from activities
- Document resident participation and progress
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure a positive resident experience
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for residents
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with seniors and understand their needs
- Creativity and Enthusiasm
- Physical ability to assist with activities and transport residents
- Experience with activities in a healthcare setting is a plus
Salary : $14 - $15
